Visual Brand Library
Commissioned image libraries built to last years, not weeks.
A Visual Brand Library replaces fragmented, one-off commissioning with a planned, cumulative image strategy. Each shoot is built as part of a wider system, so photography accumulates value across teams, markets and channels rather than resetting with every brief. All imagery is commissioned exclusively for your organisation and licensed for long-term, multi-use rights agreed up front, giving procurement and brand teams clarity and confidence. Many clients centre their library on their own people and workplaces, producing authentic imagery that stock cannot replicate, commissioned locally and aligned globally.
Frequently asked
- What is a Visual Brand Library Licence?
- A licensing model built for long-term, multi-department use. Imagery is commissioned exclusively for your organisation and cleared for use across brand, marketing and internal communications for an agreed multi-year period, with terms settled up front so legal and procurement have nothing left to resolve later.
- What does the licence cover, and what is excluded?
- It covers websites and digital platforms, marketing and communications, internal and employee communications, and PR and editorial distribution. Paid advertising is deliberately excluded and licensed separately as Campaign work: lead campaigns, media buys, out-of-home and broadcast. That boundary is what keeps the core licence affordable for you and fair to the photographer.
- Who owns the copyright?
- Copyright remains with the photographer; your organisation holds exclusive brand-use rights for the agreed term. This is deliberate. A full buyout is usually the most expensive way to solve a problem that a well-drafted licence solves for a fraction of the cost.
- Why not use stock imagery instead?
- Stock is licensed, non-exclusive and disconnected from your organisation, and a competitor can license the same frame. Brand Library photography is made for your organisation and your people, so it accumulates value rather than resetting with every brief.
