- Can stills and video be shot on the same production?
- Yes, and it is usually the better answer. Shooting both under one creative direction means one set of permissions, one schedule and one visual language, rather than two productions that have to be reconciled afterwards. For Holland & Barrett the photography and the film were produced as a single campaign.
- Do you place a stills photographer alongside an existing film crew?
- Often. Where a crew is already on the ground, adding a stills photographer to the same access and safety plan is far cheaper than mounting a second trip. That is how we covered a Discovery shoot in western Zambia.
